Who
* As a member of the Eastern Ontario Staff
Development Network, each member school board will have
one representative on the Board of Directors who shall be
a representative from the senior administration of the School
Board,
* One representative from Queen's Faculty of Education,
* The Chairs of the Projects Committee, the Qualifications
and Creditation Committee and the Partnerships Committee,
* Two Directors of Education (one Public and one Catholic),
* Representatives to the Board of Directors should designate
an alternate and identify that individual to the EOSDN.
(Representatives are responsible for debriefing the alternates.)
When
* Meets twice a year (May & November)
Roles and Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and vision for the EOSDN
* Ensure viability and accountability through setting financial
and policy direction
* Select and support committee representatives
* Provide direction for the standing committees through
representation on committees
* Promote the EOSDN within the boards/faculties and external
agencies (eg. OCT,
Ministry, etc.
* Promote and support job-alike networking
* Ensure that there is a mechanism to communicate EOSDN
news/info within the
boards/faculties including establishing website connections
between boards/faculties
and the EOSDN onboard/faculty websites
* Acknowledge individual outstanding contribution to the
EOSDN, through the EOSDN OutstandingService Award
